Safe Sanctuaries
On February 26, 2018, First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Longview, adopted a policy focusing on protecting all children and youth. As of May 2026, First Christian Church of Longview’s Board of Directors voted to amend and update our safe sanctuary policy to better protect children and youth. Below is the policy.
ALL persons who wish to work with children or youth in any capacity MUST complete a background check and undergo training on the policy of FCC. The training is in-person only and must be completed before working or volunteering. See below for upcoming training sessions.
