"Be the Neighbor" Youth Mission Trip
July 27-July 31 (Summer 2025)
This is just to collect a deposit to secure a position for the trip. More information, waivers, and medical information will be gathered at a later date.
The total Cost of the Trip will be $500. Every effort will be made to have the remainder of the cost ($400) covered and sponsored by the church. But you will be responsible for whatever amount cannot be covered.
During your Be The Neighbor trip to Fort Worth, your group will delve into various aspects of hunger relief through direct engagement and hands-on service. You will partner with local organizations and churches that are actively addressing food insecurity in the area. Activities will include working in community gardens that grow fresh produce for those in need, serving at food pantries that distribute essential groceries, and participating in cooking programs that provide nutritious meals. Your trip will also include opportunities learn about and engage in advocacy efforts aimed at addressing systemic issues related to food insecurity like eliminating food deserts and advocating for fair food policies that promote equitable access to healthy food.
Your group will explore how the topics you’re learning about are relevant to your own community and will develop a plan for how you can continue this work when you get home. Be The Neighbor weeks are learning and launching trips, meaning participants will leave the week equipped to live lives of love, service, and justice in ways that are relational, sustainable, and dignity-affirming!
Please do not adjust the order quantity. A form will pop-up when registering to collect information for each registrant and it will only work 1 at a time. Thanks!
